💰 Salary: ₹36 LPA + (based on experience)

We specialize in SaaS-based Learning Management Systems (LMS) and digital solutions for the maritime industry.

We are expanding rapidly and seeking a dynamic and strategic General Manager – Sales & Marketing to lead global growth initiatives and drive overall commercial success.


🔹 Role Overview

The General Manager will spearhead the Sales & Marketing division, shape global sales strategies, manage teams, strengthen international partnerships, and drive revenue growth across the marine SaaS portfolio.

Preferred candidates must be based in Mumbai (current residents or professionals working in Mumbai).


🔹 Key Responsibilities

1. Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead Sales & Marketing teams including managers, executives, and channel partners

  • Mentor, coach, and train team members to maximize performance

  • Build a high-performance, target-driven culture

2. Sales Strategy & Target Delivery

  • Create and implement sales plans aligned with organizational goals

  • Drive consistent achievement of revenue targets

  • Define KPIs, forecasting, and sales budgets in collaboration with leadership

3. International Business Coordination

  • Work closely with overseas offices—Singapore & Greece

  • Support global teams in executing marketing and sales initiatives

  • Manage cross-border communication and performance

4. Distributor & Key Account Management

  • Handle global distribution channels and ensure timely deliveries

  • Build, optimize, and maintain CRM workflows

  • Strengthen customer relationships and ensure high retention

5. Client Engagement & Business Development

  • Regular follow-ups with existing customers to ensure top-tier service

  • Identify and open new accounts to grow market share

  • Frequent national and international travel for meetings, demos, and deal closures

6. Global Exhibitions & Events

  • Represent KARCO in international marine exhibitions and trade shows

  • Build brand visibility and generate new business pipelines


🔹 Qualifications & Experience

  • 10+ years in senior Sales/Marketing roles

  • Mandatory experience in SaaS or Marine industry (LMS SaaS is an added advantage)

  • Sailing experience strongly preferred

  • MBA/Post-MBA preferred

  • Proven success in leading teams and achieving revenue targets

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills

  • Experience in CRM systems & automation tools

  • Ability to work across cultures and global markets
