Position Overview

We are seeking to hire a bright, motivated, and entrepreneurial candidate to head the Marketing team. The role will report to the Chief Growth Officer / Chief Business Officer and work closely with finance, sales, and strategy teams. The position is based out of the Gurgaon office with monthly travel to Hyderabad.


This is a full-time onsite role and not a hybrid or WFH position.


Key Responsibilities


Strategic Marketing & Planning

·      Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with business goals.

·      Manage annual marketing budget with optimal utilization and measurable ROI.

·      Conduct market segmentation and identify new opportunities across utility, commercial, and residential segments.


Channel Sales Marketing

·      Lead annual marketing plans for channel sales, including budgeting and execution.

·      Drive brand awareness and customer acquisition.


Brand & Corporate Communication

·      Build and strengthen brand visibility and positioning.

·      Oversee PR, internal communication, media relations, and stakeholder messaging.

·      Develop content strategy including case studies, white papers, and thought leadership.


Product & Technical Marketing

·      Collaborate with product and engineering teams to craft product messaging and go-to-market strategies.

·      Monitor market trends, customer insights, and competitive activity.


Digital Marketing & Lead Generation

·      Lead digital initiatives across SEO/SEM, paid media, social platforms, email campaigns, and automation tools.

·      Build integrated demand-generation campaigns to support the sales pipeline.


Trade Shows, Events & Partnerships

·      Represent the company at national and international events, exhibitions, and industry forums.

·      Build strategic partnerships with distributors, EPCs, government bodies, and sustainability organizations.


Leadership & Team Management

·      Lead and mentor the marketing team with a focus on performance, creativity, and impact.

·      Foster cross-functional collaboration with Sales, R&D, Operations, and Finance teams.


Desired Qualifications & Attributes

·      Master’s degree in Marketing or Business preferred (MBA desirable).

·      Minimum 10 years of post-MBA experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.

·      Product marketing experience is a must-have.

·      Proven track record of leading marketing initiatives and delivering measurable impact.

·      Exposure to multiple industries (2 or more) is preferred.

·      Strong expertise in digital marketing, product positioning, branding, and communications.

·      Excellent strategic thinking, communication, and leadership skills.
