General Manager - Finance

As the General Manager of Finance, you will play a key role in leading strategic and operational finance functions within our organization. Your primary focus will be on financial planning, project financing, cash flow management, fund raising, and investor relations. This position is specifically tailored to exclude accounting responsibilities and instead concentrate on business-critical financial activities that will directly support project execution, profitability, and growth in the real estate sector. Your responsibilities will include developing long-term financial plans that are aligned with our business strategy and conducting financial feasibility studies and project viability analysis. You will also be responsible for structuring and securing funding from various sources such as banks, NBFCs, private equity firms, or other financial institutions. Managing relationships with lenders, financial institutions, and rating agencies will be a crucial aspect of this role, along with preparing detailed project reports, CMA data, and investor presentations. Monitoring and managing cash flow to ensure timely availability of funds for operations and project milestones will be essential, as well as optimizing working capital through structured inflows and controlled outflows. You will also be required to forecast short-term and long-term cash requirements and engage with existing and potential investors to build trust and transparency. Cost optimization and risk management will be key components of your responsibilities, as you analyze cost structures, identify financial risks, and collaborate with procurement and project teams to control budget overruns. Generating timely financial dashboards, cash flow reports, and project performance metrics for leadership, as well as providing actionable insights to support decision-making, will also be part of your role. To be successful in this position, you should have a Chartered Accountant (CA) or MBA in Finance from a reputed institute and proven experience in financial strategy, fundraising, and real estate project financing. Strong analytical, negotiation, and financial modeling skills are required, along with excellent relationship management abilities with lenders, investors, and senior stakeholders. Proficiency in Excel and PowerBI will be advantageous in carrying out your responsibilities effectively.,
