General Manager - Finance

The role of this position is to support the Commercial Finance team by providing timely and accurate information to the business through the analysis of business unit performance. Utilizing financial analysis techniques, you will offer insights, analysis, and trends on critical business issues that affect the day-to-day performance of a business unit for consideration by senior stakeholders. You will be responsible for: - Collecting and analyzing financial information to aid in commercial decision-making. - Identifying and monitoring the underlying drivers of cost and revenue variances between actual expenditure and forecast/budget. You will highlight issues and their impact on margins when necessary. - Proactively collaborating with the business to analyze and generate forecasts, enhance data capture and processes, and provide valuable insights to share with the business. - Supporting the business in determining short, medium, and long-term resourcing requirements. - Participating in bid teams for pitches and new business endeavors by driving appropriate commercial terms, pricing, and profitability. - Providing ad-hoc financial information and analysis as needed.
