Job Description

As a Strategic Financial Management professional, you will be responsible for developing and implementing financial strategies in alignment with organizational objectives. Your role will involve providing valuable financial insights to support strategic decision-making and business planning. Additionally, you will oversee budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning activities. In the realm of Financial Reporting & Analysis, your duties will include preparing and presenting accurate and timely financial reports to stakeholders. It will be crucial for you to analyze financial performance, identify areas for improvement, and mitigate risks effectively. Ensuring compliance with accounting standards such as IFRS and GAAP will also be a key aspect of this role. Compliance & Risk Management will be a significant focus area where you will need to ensure adherence to statutory and regulatory requirements, including tax laws. Implementing strong internal controls to safeguard assets and mitigate financial risks will be essential. You will also be required to liaise with auditors, regulators, and external stakeholders. Your responsibilities will extend to Treasury & Cash Flow Management, where monitoring and managing cash flow to meet operational and investment needs will be imperative. Overseeing funding strategies, debt management, and optimizing capital structure are among the critical tasks you will handle. Building and maintaining relationships with financial institutions and investors will also be part of your role. Team Leadership & Development will be a key aspect of your job, involving leading, mentoring, and developing the finance team to ensure high performance. You will be expected to foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the team. Driving process automation and enhancing efficiency within the finance function will also be crucial. As part of Business Support, collaboration with various departments to evaluate and support business initiatives will be essential. Providing financial analysis for mergers, acquisitions, and growth opportunities will be a key responsibility. Developing KPIs and dashboards to monitor and enhance operational performance will also fall under your purview. To excel in this role, you should hold a Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification and possess an MBA in Finance or an equivalent degree, along with 8-10 years of progressive financial management experience. A proven track record in strategic financial leadership roles will be highly beneficial for success in this position.,
