Join our innovative travel tech company as a UI/UX Lead, where you'll have the opportunity to shape the design and user experience of our digital products. In this role, you will guide the UI/UX design process from concept to execution, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver top-tier, user-centric designs that align with business objectives. As the UI/UX Lead, your key responsibilities will include spearheading the design vision and strategy across multiple projects, ensuring consistency with business goals and user requirements. You will lead and inspire a team of talented UI/UX designers, offering support, feedback, and professional development opportunities. Conducting in-depth user research and usability testing to gain insights that inform design decisions, ensuring solutions are intuitive and user-friendly will be a crucial aspect of your role. You will also develop wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that effectively communicate the design intent and user flow. Partnering closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of design concepts across platforms is essential. Creating and maintaining a comprehensive design system that promotes consistency, scalability, and efficiency in all projects will be part of your responsibilities. Regularly updating designs based on feedback from users, business objectives, and technical feasibility is necessary to ensure iterative improvement. Continuously exploring the latest design trends, tools, and methodologies to enhance the design process and product outcomes is also expected. To be successful in this role, you must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in UI/UX design with a robust portfolio of web and mobile design projects. Proven leadership experience in managing and mentoring a design team is required. Expertise in industry-standard design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, and InVision is essential. Strong knowledge of design systems, UI/UX best practices, and modern design trends is crucial. Experience in conducting user research and usability testing to inform design improvements is a must. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across diverse teams are also necessary. The ability to balance user-centered design with business objectives and technical constraints is key. Preferred qualifications include familiarity with agile development processes, basic understanding of front-end technologies like HTML, CSS (beneficial but not required), and a degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, HCI, or a related field.
