Game Developer

Role: Intern

Location: Mumbai

Software: Unity / Unreal Game Engine - Compulsory,

GoDot, Scratch, Phaser - Optional,

Video Editing Tools - Optional,

Any AI tools Game Development - Plus.

Location - NDFC, Pedder Road, Mumbai

Timings - 10 - 6 pm

Duration - 6 Months

Stipend - will be provided

Note - Best performers will automatically be converted to full-time.

Willingness to learn new things and create more interesting works is expected.

Responsibilities

Support content curation for gaming development modules.
Assist in recording gameplay demos, tutorial videos, and development walkthroughs.
Having the ability to prepare video / text materials clearly and intuitively.
Absolute passion for playing and making video games, especially mobile games.
Creative problem solving, a passion to innovate, and the drive to go beyond.
Support trainers during coding labs, debugging sessions, and workshops.
Work with seniors to develop gameplay prototypes and academic game projects.
Implement gameplay mechanics, UI flows, controls, interactions, and simple systems using C#, Blueprints, or scripting tools.
Debug, test, and refine game builds based on trainer & project feedback.
Contribute to basic optimization tasks and project cleanup.
Continuously upskill in programming, game engines, tools, and pipelines.

Software & Knowledge Requirements

Strong programming fundamentals in C# (Unity) and/or Blueprints/C++ (Unreal).
Working knowledge of Unity or Unreal for prototype development.
Familiarity with 2D/3D gameplay styles and basic optimization concepts.
Awareness of version control workflows (Git preferred).
Prior project work, personal prototypes, or mini-games expected.
Portfolio submission is mandatory (GitHub, itch.io, Google Drive, etc.).
Degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a similar field.
Good troubleshooting skills.
Excellent attention to detail.
Good communication skills.
