Indian Institute of Creative Technologies (IICT) is a section 8 company with stakeholders from I&B Ministry, FICCI and CII. IICT aims to upskill manpower in the Animation, VFX, Gaming, Comics, Xtended Reality (AVGC-XR) Industry by offering specialized training-cum-learning programs. IICT operates out of the NFDC campus at Peddar Road, Mumbai and will relocate to a 10-acre campus in Goregaon filmcity, Mumbai by 2027, boasting state-of-the-art facilities. As a Faculty Visual Effects (VFX) at IICT, your role involves curriculum development, mentoring junior faculty, and leading hands-on learning in VFX technologies. You should bring a blend of deep industry experience, a passion for education, and innovation. **Responsibilities:** - Design and deliver VFX curriculum integrating AI-enhanced post-production tools and modern workflows. - Supervise junior faculty recruitment, training, and performance evaluations. - Foster industry collaborations for masterclasses, student projects, and R&D. - Work with other IICT teams on outreach and admissions. - Oversee VFX training labs, studios, and software infrastructure. - Align academic delivery with industry certification frameworks and UGC compliance. **Key Skills and Experience:** - 20+ years in VFX production or supervision with academic/training experience. - Expertise in compositing, match moving, FX simulations, and pipeline automation. - Proficient in Nuke, Houdini, Maya, Blender, After Effects, and related tools. - Knowledge of AI-powered tools in rotoscoping, cleanup, motion capture, and crowd simulation. - Strong understanding of production pipelines and technical direction. - Proven experience in managing academic or creative teams. **Compensation:** As per market standards If you are interested in this role at IICT, please reach out to iict@theiict.in for further information.,
