Job Summary

Game Designer

Key Responsibilities

• Design core gameplay mechanics, rules, and systems.
• Create game concepts, storylines, characters, and progression systems.
• Develop level designs, puzzles, challenges, and user flows.
• Prepare detailed game design documents (GDDs), wireframes, and flowcharts.
• Collaborate with artists, developers, and researchers to implement game features.
• Balance gameplay for difficulty, engagement, and player retention.
• Analyze player feedback and data to improve gameplay experience.
• Research gaming trends, competitors, and player behavior.
• Test and iterate on game mechanics to ensure quality and fun.
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Game Design, Computer Science, Media, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Strong understanding of game design fundamentals (mechanics, dynamics, balance, UX).
• Passion for games across PC, mobile, and console platforms.
• Ability to clearly communicate ideas through documentation and presentations.
• Logical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  

Preferred Skills (Optional)

• Experience with Unity or Unreal Engine (basic to intermediate).
• Knowledge of scripting or visual scripting tools.
• Understanding of monetization models and player engagement strategies.
• Familiarity with prototyping tools.
• Experience in game testing or QA.
