Game Designer

Role Overview: You are a creative Game Designer with 2-3 years of experience in game development. You understand game mechanics, level design, and player psychology well. Your role involves collaborating with artists, programmers, and other designers to create engaging and immersive gameplay experiences. Key Responsibilities: - Design game mechanics, systems, and levels to enhance player engagement. - Create and maintain design documentation, including game concepts, user journey wireframe, rules, and progression systems. - Balance gameplay elements for fairness, replayability, and fun. - Conduct playtesting sessions, gather feedback, and iterate on designs. - Analyze player behavior and metrics to refine game mechanics. - Collaborate with artists, programmers, and narrative designers to ensure cohesive game design. - Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor games. - Attend various requirement gathering sessions and prepare proposals against the requirements. Qualifications & Skills: - Minimum 2-3 years of professional experience in game design (mobile, PC, or console). - Strong understanding of game theory, player psychology, and UX/UI principles. - Proficiency in game design tools (e.g., Unity, Unreal Engine, Figma, Miro). - Experience with level design, scripting, or balancing game economies. - Proficiency in communication skills. - Excellent understanding of gameplay fundamentals. - Ability to work independently as well as in a team. - Passionate about game mechanics, accessibility, UI effectiveness, iterative design, and playtesting. - Game design degree is a plus!
