Job Description: Subject Matter Expert - UPSC Location: Jaipur Rajasthan (WFO) Pay Range - 4 to 6.5 LPA UPSC CSE 1 Mains Required. Position: 3 Medium - English and Hindi Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Subject Matter Expert. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of current affairs, excellent teaching skills, and a passion for mentoring aspiring civil servants. They will be responsible for developing high-quality content, conducting classes, and guiding students through their exam preparation journey. Key Responsibilities: 1. Daily Current Affairs Updates: - Stay abreast of current events and developments relevant to UPSC and State PSC exams. - Compile and curate daily current affairs updates to be used in classes and quizzes. 2. Classroom Instruction and Doubt Solving: - Conduct engaging classes covering various subjects and topics relevant to the exam syllabus. - Address student queries and doubts effectively, providing clear explanations and guidance. 3. Content Development: - Develop comprehensive and well-structured PowerPoint presentations (PPTs) for lectures. - Create study materials, including notes, handouts, and reference materials, to aid students in their preparation. 4. Daily Quizzes: - Design and administer daily quizzes based on the topics covered in class. - Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback for improvement. 5. Mains Question Preparation: - Prepare thought-provoking mains questions across different subjects with model answers. - Assist students in developing critical thinking and analytical skills required for mains examinations. 6. Mentorship and Guidance: - Provide one-on-one mentoring and guidance to students, helping them set realistic goals and develop effective study strategies. - Monitor student progress and offer personalized support to ensure their success in the examinations. Qualifications and Experience: - Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field (e.g., Political Science, History, Public Administration). - Minimum one year of experience in teaching or content development & Teaching experience for UPSC.. - Must have written at least one mains examination for UPSC. - Strong understanding of exam patterns, syllabus, and marking schemes. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Proficiency in MS Office applications and educational tools/software.
