Job Description

Location: Pune, Chennai

Experience: 5 to10 years


Must Have Skills

  1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  2. Minimum of 5-8 years of hands-on experience in Node.JS.
  3. Proven experience in leading development teams and projects.
  4. Strong proficiency in RESTful API development in Node.JS/Nest.JS.
  5. Proficiency in CRUD operations and unit testing framework like Jest.
  6. In-depth knowledge of software design patterns and best practices.
  7. Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, including deployment, scaling, and integration.
  8. Hands-on experience with Firestore for NoSQL database management, including data modeling, querying, and real-time synchronization.
  9. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to handle technical challenges.
  10. Effective communication and leadership abilities.


Good to Have Skills

  1. Experience with agile software development methodologies.
  2. Code review experience.
  3. Security best practices and experience in securing applications.
  4. Code review experience and familiarity with tools like GitHub.
  5. Security best practices, including authentication (e.g., JWT), authorization, and vulnerability scanning.
  6. Experience writing unit test cases in Nest.js using frameworks like Jest.
  7. Experience writing regression test cases to ensure application stability and reliability.
  8. Proficiency in creating technical documentation, including API specifications and system guides.


Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role

  1. Lead and mentor development teams in Angular and Nest.JS software design and development
  2. Architect, design, and develop complex, mission-critical applications.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and ensure seamless integration of software components.
  4. Ensure code quality, adherence to coding standards, and performance optimization.
  5. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and provide guidance to team members.
  6. Lead technical discussions, code reviews, and knowledge sharing sessions.
  7. Stay updated with the latest Angular and Nest.js libraries, and best practices.
  8. Contribute to the development of technical documentation and system architecture diagrams.
