Full Stack Engineer/Architect

Job Title:

Summary:

As a software engineer, you will be responsible for designing, creating, and testing software applications. You will work closely with other engineers to develop new solutions that satisfy our product needs. You will also be tasked with maintaining and updating current software systems.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Create, build, and test software applications over a wide range of programming languages and technologies.
• Collaborate with other engineers to collect and analyse requirements, design solutions, and deploy code.
• Write code that is concise, understandable, and maintainable.
• Troubleshoot and debug software issues.
• Document the software systems and procedures.
• Keep up with the newest software development trends and technology.
• Develop and maintain user interfaces, elements, and dynamic functionalities using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Translate designs into pixel-perfect user interfaces.
• Incorporate requirements and feedback into new features and enhancements for the product

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software development.
• Experience with object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.
• Experience with testing methodologies and tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience with modern front-end libraries and frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js, Angular).
• Understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility.
• Passion for user experience and building high-quality web applications.
• Proficiency in Java and frameworks such as Spring Boot or Jakarta EE.
• Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and ORM tools like Hibernate or JPA.
• Understanding of authentication, authorisation, and security best practices.
• Experience with build and dependency management tools (e.g., Maven, Gradle).
• Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

Additional Requirements(good to have, not mandatory):

• Basic cloud knowledge.
• ⁠Familiar with Linux OS and commands.
• ⁠Docker and Kubernetes knowledge.
• Knowledge of OpenAI and the ChatGPT API
