About this Role

We’re seeking a skilled Full Stack Developer to work on backend services and frontend interfaces for Paywize’s financial platforms. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, QA, and DevOps to build reliable, scalable, and high-performing fintech solutions..

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable APIs and microservices
• Build and maintain frontend interfaces using React or Vue.js
• Optimize application performance and address security vulnerabilities
• Integrate third-party SDKs and banking APIs
• Cooperate with the QA team to ensure code quality and reliability
• Identify opportunities to improve code efficiency and contribute to software architecture planning
• Maintain code and documentation integrity and organization
• Participate in risk identification, threat modeling, and team-wide non-development activities
• Build reusable components and stay updated with emerging trends and technologies

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 5+ years of professional experience in software development with a strong focus on backend engineering
• Deep expertise in Node.js, with hands-on experience in frameworks like Express.js and/or Nest.js
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and working knowledge of TypeScript
• Advanced knowledge of MongoDB and PostgreSQL including query optimization and schema design
• Experience with Redis, job/message queues, and asynchronous processing
• Solid understanding of RESTful API design, third-party API integrations, and secure data handling
• Experience building scalable, high-performance, and resilient applications
• Proficient with Git and standard version control workflows
• Familiarity with Docker and containerized environments
• Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and performance optimization skills
• Strong communication skills and the ability to lead or mentor junior developers
• Self-driven, accountable, and committed to high code quality and best engineering practices

Preferred Skills:

• Experience working with payments or banking APIs
• Familiarity with Nest.js, Redis, TypeScript and messaging queues (Kafka/Redis Streams/RabbitMQ)
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices
• Exposure to testing frameworks like Jest, Mocha, or Cypress
• Prior experience in a fintech company or financial services domain is a strong advantage

Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹1,500,000.00 per year
