Job Summary: We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Food Testing Executive with 1 to 5 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food science or related disciplines and will be responsible for conducting quality tests on food products for manufacturing units. The candidate will ensure that all food products meet the required safety and quality standards before they are released to the market. Key Responsibilities: Conduct routine and advanced food quality testing in accordance with NABL standards and protocols. Perform microbiological, chemical, and physical testing of food samples as per the defined test parameters. Analyze test results and prepare detailed reports for submission to clients and regulatory bodies. Ensure compliance with all relevant food safety standards and regulations including FSSAI guidelines. Maintain accurate records of all tests and ensure timely documentation. Calibrate, operate, and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment. Assist in sample collection, preparation, and processing. Collaborate with manufacturing units to address quality issues and suggest corrective actions. Participate in internal audits and support external audits for NABL and FSSAI compliance. Stay updated with latest developments and trends in food safety and testing methodologies. Qualifications & Experience: Bachelors degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Chemistry, or any related science discipline preferred. Candidates with any graduate degree and relevant experience in food testing will also be considered. 1 to 5 years of hands-on experience in a food testing laboratory, preferably in a NABL certified environment. Practical knowledge of food testing techniques, standards, and instrumentation. Experience with FSSAI standards and compliance is highly advantageous. Skills & Competencies: Strong analytical and observational skills with keen attention to detail. Proficient in handling laboratory equipment and technology used in food testing. Ability to interpret test results accurately and prepare technical reports. Good communication skills for liaising with clients and regulatory authorities.
