Job Description

**Role Overview:** As a Senior Food Nutritional Scientist / Product Developer specializing in RTD beverages and powder mixes, your primary responsibility will be to lead the formulation and product development process. You will be tasked with driving innovation through science-backed concepts to create nutrient-dense, shelf-stable beverages that meet specific macronutrient/micronutrient profiles, flavor, solubility, and stability criteria. Your expertise will be crucial in developing new product prototypes, refining existing formulas, and optimizing formulations for cost efficiency without compromising on quality. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop new product prototypes and refine existing formulas based on sensory analysis, stability testing, and nutritional targets. - Formulate nutrient-dense, shelf-stable beverages and powders that meet targeted macronutrient/micronutrient profiles, flavor, solubility, and stability criteria. - Evaluate and incorporate clinically substantiated functional ingredients such as adaptogens, nootropics, probiotics, fibers, vitamins, and minerals. - Ensure compliance with relevant local and international regulations (FDA, EFSA, FSSAI, GCC, etc.) and labeling guidelines. - Conduct pilot trials and scale up from bench to commercial production. - Lead sensory evaluations, shelf-life testing, reconstitution trials, and stability studies. - Work with QA/QC to develop product specifications, testing protocols, and corrective action plans. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product-market fit, ingredient sourcing, regulatory clearance, and commercial readiness. - Provide technical support to internal teams and external clients regarding product attributes and functional benefits. - Engage with raw material suppliers to source innovative ingredients and approve vendor samples. **Qualifications Required:** - Formulation expertise in powder & RTD products, including protein blends, emulsification, suspension systems, sweetener blends, solubility, and flavor masking. - In-depth understanding of human nutrition, ingredient interaction, and functional health benefits. - Experience with pilot-scale trials, shelf-life testing, sensory panels, and nutritional analysis software. - Knowledge of GMP, GRAS, HACCP, and FSMA/FSSAI/USDA regulations. - Proficiency in analytical data interpretation and project management. - Strong attention to detail, creativity, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. - Flexibility to travel domestically/internationally for supplier audits or manufacturing trials.,
