Role Description

The Unit Manager will lead the overall operations of a luxury 5-star hotel, with strong core expertise in Front Office operations. The role requires hands-on leadership to ensure exceptional guest experience, smooth room operations, and high service standards across the property.


Key Responsibilities

Front Office (Core Responsibility)

Oversee all Front Office operations including reception, reservations, guest relations, and concierge

Ensure smooth check-in/check-out processes and superior guest handling

Personally manage VIP guests, repeat guests, and complaint resolution

Coordinate closely with Housekeeping to ensure room readiness and service quality

Maintain high guest satisfaction scores and online reviews

Hotel Operations

Supervise day-to-day hotel operations with focus on Rooms Division

Ensure coordination between Front Office, Housekeeping, and other departments

Maintain 5-star service standards and SOP compliance

Monitor daily occupancy, room revenue, and operational efficiency

Housekeeping Knowledge

Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation of rooms and public areas

Review room inspections and housekeeping schedules

Work closely with the Executive Housekeeper to maintain quality standards

Guest Experience

Be highly visible in guest areas to interact and build relationships

Ensure personalized service and prompt resolution of guest issues

Uphold luxury hospitality standards at all times

Administration & Team Leadership

Lead, train, and motivate department heads and staff

Ensure staff grooming, discipline, and service etiquette

Monitor duty rosters and basic cost controls

Financial Oversight

Track daily revenues and expenses

Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost control initiatives


Qualifications & Experience

Degree/Diploma in Hotel Management

Minimum 5 years of hotel experience, with strong Front Office background (mandatory)

Working knowledge of Housekeeping operations

Experience in luxury or upscale hotels preferred


Skills & Competencies

Excellent guest handling and communication skills

Strong leadership and decision-making ability

Detail-oriented with a service-focused mindset

Willingness to be hands-on in daily operations

Ready to work in Nathdwara
