Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Guest Services

  • Oversee daily front office operations including Reception, Guest Relations, Bell Desk, and Concierge.
  • Ensure smooth and efficient guest check-in, check-out, and room allocation.
  • Handle VIP arrivals, guest complaints, and special requests professionally.
  • Maintain high standards of hospitality and service excellence at all times.
  • Ensure accurate handling of guest accounts, billing, and cash controls.

Team Management & Training

  • Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise front office staff.
  • Conduct daily briefings and regular performance evaluations.
  • Motivate the team to deliver consistent service standards.
  • Ensure proper grooming, discipline, and adherence to hotel SOPs.

Coordination & Communication

  • Coordinate closely with Housekeeping, F&B, Maintenance, and Sales departments.
  • Communicate room status, occupancy forecasts, and special guest requirements.
  • Liaise with travel agents, corporate clients, and OTA partners when required.

Revenue & Yield Management

  • Maximize room occupancy and revenue through effective room selling strategies.
  • Monitor room rates, upselling, and inventory control.
  • Ensure accurate posting of charges and minimize revenue leakage.

Administration & Compliance

  • Prepare daily reports such as occupancy, ARR, ADR, and guest feedback.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements including guest registration and local regulations.
  • Maintain front office records, logs, and MIS reports.
  • Implement and monitor SOPs, safety, and security procedures.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Degree/Diploma in Hotel Management or Hospitality.
  • Minimum 3–6 years of experience in Front Office operations, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory/managerial role.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in PMS (Opera, IDS, eZee, etc.) and MS Office.
  • Excellent guest-handling and interpersonal skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹33,000.00 per month
