Echor Hotels & Resorts is Hiring for Front Office Manager for Palampur

Position Overview

As the Front Office Manager, you will be the face of Echor Hotels & Resorts, responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences from check-in to check-out. Your role involves leading the front desk team, managing reservations, addressing guest concerns, and ensuring seamless coordination across departments to uphold high service standards.​

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership & Training: Supervise, train, and evaluate front desk staff, including receptionists, concierges, and bell staff. Foster a collaborative environment to ensure efficient operations.​
  • Guest Services: Ensure guests are welcomed promptly and professionally. Address and resolve guest complaints or concerns in a friendly and efficient manner.​
  • Reservations & Billing: Oversee the hotel's reservation system, ensuring all bookings are accurate and up-to-date. Manage front desk operations, including room assignments, billing, and special requests.​
  • Interdepartmental Coordination: Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure rooms are ready for guests and any special accommodations are met.​
  • Guest Feedback & Satisfaction: Monitor guest feedback, conduct surveys, and take action to maintain a high guest satisfaction score.​
  • Administrative Duties: Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling shifts, managing payroll, and ensuring compliance with hotel policies and procedures.​
  • Operational Audits: Perform regular audits of front desk operations and ensure that standards of cleanliness and professionalism are maintained.​

Qualifications & Skills

  • Education: Minimum of a high school diploma; a bachelor's degree in hospitality management or a related field is preferred.​
  • Experience: At least 2 years of experience in hotel front office management or a similar guest service role.​
  • Skills:
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in hotel management software (e.g., Opera, Micros) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to handle guest complaints and resolve issues in a positive and timely manner.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.​

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: ₹15,000 – ₹25,000 per month.​
