Role Overview: As a qualified and experienced freight broker, you will be responsible for managing the team, providing effective guidance, and ensuring smooth team operations and collaboration. Your role will involve supervising, motivating, and engaging team members to achieve set goals. Key Responsibilities: - Leading and Managing Teams: Oversee employees, provide guidance, set goals, and ensure effective teamwork. - Setting Objectives: Define team and individual goals aligning with the organization's objectives. - Assigning Tasks: Distribute tasks based on skills and workload for fair responsibilities. - Monitoring Progress: Track team progress, offer feedback, and assistance when needed. - Training and Development: Identify training needs, facilitate growth for team members. - Problem Solving: Address conflicts, find solutions to maintain a positive work environment. - Performance Evaluation: Conduct regular reviews, provide constructive feedback. - Communication: Foster open communication, act as a liaison with upper management. - Resource Management: Ensure team has necessary resources to accomplish tasks. - Decision-Making: Make informed decisions, handle project issues.
