Role Description

Freelance SAP Controlling (CO) Consultant

Project Scope & Responsibilities

• Support SAP S/4HANA implementation based on an existing global template
• Lead and execute

  Product Cost Controlling (COPC)

  configuration in a manufacturing environment
• Configure and support

  standard cost estimates

  and

  actual costing using Material Ledger

• Support production cost collection on

  process orders

  , including:
• Raw material consumption
• Labor activity allocation
• Manufacturing overhead allocation
• Execute and support period-end processes including:
• Overhead calculation
• Work-in-Process (WIP) calculation
• Variance calculation and settlement
• Material Ledger actual costing and inventory revaluation
• Participate in

  requirements validation workshops

  and localization discussions
• Perform configuration,

  unit testing

  , and

  integration testing

• Support

  data migration activities

  related to controlling and costing
• Prepare functional specifications and support

  custom development acceptance testing

• Execute

  functional authorization testing

  for CO processes
• Define and validate

  CO jobs and period-end activities

• Support

  User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

  and provide

  go-live and hypercare support

• Create documentation and deliver

  key user training

• Collaborate closely with Finance, Manufacturing, and other SAP module teams

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum

  3+ years of SAP Controlling (CO) consulting experience

• Strong hands-on experience in

  Product Cost Controlling (COPC)

• Experience with

  standard costing and actual costing using Material Ledger

• Experience in

  process manufacturing and/or discrete manufacturing

  environments
• Hands-on experience with

  SAP S/4HANA

  , including at least

  2 end-to-end implementations

• Strong experience across the full implementation lifecycle:
• Requirement definition
• Configuration and unit testing
• Functional and integration testing
• Data migration support
• Custom development coordination and acceptance testing
• Functional authorization testing
• UAT and go-live hypercare
• Strong communication skills and ability to work directly with business stakeholders
• Team-oriented mindset with a proactive and positive attitude
• Availability during agreed working hours via collaboration tools (MS Teams, email, phone)

• Experience with

  process systems related to fixed assets
