Role Description

Freelance Oracle Cloud HCM Solution Architect

This role requires deep hands-on expertise across HCM Extracts, Fast Formulas, Integrations, and data conversions, along with strong functional knowledge of Oracle Cloud HCM modules including Core HR, Payroll, Benefits, Compensation, ORC, Absence Management, and Learning.

Responsibilities

Solution Architecture & Design

• Lead the design of Oracle Cloud HCM solutions, ensuring alignment with business goals and industry best practices
• Architect multi-module, cross-platform HCM solutions integrating Oracle Cloud, third-party systems, and custom extensions
• Review business processes and advise on design alternatives, data flow optimizations, and configuration strategy

Technical Delivery

• Build and optimize

  HCM Extracts, Fast Formulas

  , and

  data conversion

  scripts across HCM modules
• Develop and troubleshoot

  BIP Reports, SQL / PL/SQL

  , transformation logic, and validation rules
• Support integration design using

  web services (SOAP/REST)

  and Oracle PaaS components including

  OIC

  and

  VBCS

• Perform environment setup, configuration, role-based security setup, approvals, and personalizations

Functional & Cross-Module Expertise

• Provide guidance and troubleshooting across modules such as:
• Core HR
• Global Payroll
• Benefits
• Compensation
• Absence Management
• Oracle Recruiting Cloud (ORC)
• Oracle Learning Management (OLM)
• Ensure end-to-end HCM processes—hire-to-retire, payroll cycles, benefits lifecycle—operate smoothly

Project Governance & Leadership

• Serve as a trusted advisor to customer stakeholders and leadership teams
• Provide direction and oversight to project teams on configuration, testing, cutover, and deployment
• Contribute to solution reviews, data validation cycles, defect triage, and change management plans

Required Technical Skills

• Oracle Cloud HCM architecture and module-to-module integration design
• Expertise with

  HCM Extracts, Fast Formulas, and data conversion frameworks

• SQL and PL/SQL for transformation logic and reporting
• Experience with

  BIP Reports

  , HDL, PBL, and functional configuration
• Understanding of

  HCM security

  , roles, privileges, workflow approvals, and personalization options
• Knowledge of

  SOAP/REST APIs

  , web services, and cloud integration patterns
• Exposure to Oracle PaaS services such as

  Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)

  and

  Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS)
