Freelance Investment Associate

Our client, One of India’s largest diversified financial services providers is looking to engage with a Investment Associate.

Key Responsibilities:

New Investments

• Work with the team on building/refreshing strategy
• Help develop thematic investment thesis and build a pipeline of potential investment leads
• Lead deal execution – build financial models and prepare investment memoranda
• Lead due diligence efforts – review business plans and conduct competitive analysis

Portfolio Management

• Provide analytic and strategic support to portfolio companies
• Market scanning on potential competitors, acquisitions & partnerships
• Participate in follow-on financing discussions, build investment materials
• Assist in building exit pathways
• Work closely with portfolio companies on strategy, hiring plans, market trends, fundraising, and exit efforts

Skills Required

Education, Experience and Skills:

• 4-8 years of experience in company evaluation and financial analysis, ideally at a private equity firm, investment bank, or management consultancy
• Manufacturing / Consumer domain knowledge is highly desirable
• Strong analytic, strategic thinking, and project management skills
• Strong communication and writing skills
• Comfortable working in a highly collaborative environment
