Design of Ladder Frame- aggregates and components to meet design, manufacturing, assembly and service target requirements. Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of design in given Timeline while achieving the required level of Design Quality.

Design of parts and aggregates:
3D modelling/drafting of ladder frame components to meet given design requirement Ensuring part design feasibility for all DFx parameters (Design for manufacturing/ assembly/ service) Advance understanding of GD&T and tolerance stackup Good understanding of selection of part material based on application Knowledge of regulatory requirements Packaging and DMU: Packaging of different systems on frame ensuring fitment of parts at correct location and orientation Ensuring no clashes or excess clearances to achieve final desired part function Design Calculations and modifications: Product Designing including Tolerance Stackup Analysis, Packaging Studies, Fits, Tool Clearance & Manufacturability Design calculations for loads on joints, mechanism study, kinematic, synthesis. Joint stiffness Strength calculations BOM Management and Data Release (2D &3D): Sub system level PLM data release Supplier/vendor drawing management Ensuring correct structure of parts in DMU and PLM Maintaining all versions of CAD data with proper identification of design changes done at different design stages

Working in the spirit of Start-Up environment, taking ownership for successful delivery of time-bound projects.
Comprehensive knowledge of component design, assembly, layout and articulation study Not following the conventional design and development practices and finding innovative solutions.

5-8 yrs of experience in Btech/BE Mechanical
Design of 3/4 wheeler ladder frame

Hands on proficiency on CATIA V5 & above
Should have experience in ladder frame design, component design, assembly, layout and articulation study Should have clear understanding of designing the parts as per DFM, DFA & DFS. Should have good understanding of different formats of CAD data and interchange between different software. Should be well versed with new product lifecycle and should possess know how on how to handle running changes Should have basic understanding of CAE analysis procedures, inputs, boundary conditions, acceptance criteria Should have good understanding of materials/grades used in ladder frames Should have basic understanding of assembly fixtures, welding processes, quality control processes regarding ladder frame

Ability to work across CFTs, Business Acumen, good interpersonal skills, ability to manage complex situations, out of the box thinker, innovator, creative and a team player
