Overview

As a Consolidation Analyst at PepsiCo, you will be a critical part of the financial team, directly contributing to the company's financial integrity and strategic decision-making. You will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timely consolidation of financial data across various systems, supporting key stakeholders by providing reliable financial information. Your role is central to the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes, and your meticulous attention to detail and strong technical and communication skills will be essential in upholding the high standards of a global leader.

Responsibilities

Data Management & System Administration:

  • Data Consolidation: Prepare and submit financial data into the Cockpit system. Ensure that the Mosaic TM1 system is fully prepared, functional, and available for all teams, aligning with established deadlines.
  • System Reconciliation: Perform regular reconciliations between HFM and TM1 to ensure data integrity and accuracy across all financial reporting systems.
  • System Maintenance: Proactively maintain and manage the Cockpit system to ensure it operates efficiently and supports the consolidation process seamlessly.
  • Data Accuracy: Ensure the accuracy of financial data across all cubes within the TM1 environment. Uphold strict standards for data integrity and timeliness to support business decisions.

Financial Reporting & Analysis:

  • Closing & Reporting: Prepare critical financial closing decks and landing files for both actuals and forecasts.
  • Variance Analysis: Develop and prepare comprehensive Cause of Change analyses for both actuals and forecasts at a system level, and support business partners in their own analyses.
  • Business Support: Act as a key support resource for various teams, making sure the TM1 environment is available and ready for different reporting scenarios (e.g., Annual Operating Plan (AOP), Forecasts, and Actuals).

Stakeholder Management & Collaboration:

  • Communication: Serve as a primary point of contact for financial data consolidation inquiries. Maintain strong, professional communication with all stakeholders to provide updates and resolve issues.
  • Agility & Support: Be agile and available to the teams, providing timely support and guidance to ensure they have the data they need to perform their roles effectively.
  • Cross-Functional Partnership: Collaborate with various departments to understand their data requirements and ensure the consolidation process meets their needs.

Qualifications

  • 3+ experience in a financial or accounting role, with a focus on data consolidation, reporting, and analysis
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint
  • Experience with SAP
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proven ability to be agile and responsive to team needs. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience with Cockpit, and Mosaic TM1 preferred
