Key Responsibilities
Sales Ownership
- Take full ownership of the end-to-end sales cycle — from prospecting and qualification to negotiation and closure.
- Partner with SDRs to identify, nurture, and convert high-quality leads into paying customers.
- Design and execute a winning sales strategy to consistently meet and exceed revenue targets.
- Manage a structured pipeline using CRM tools, ensuring accurate forecasting and reporting.
Process & Playbook Creation
- Build the foundational sales process, defining best practices, workflows, and playbooks that scale with growth.
- Experiment, iterate, and refine strategies to optimize conversion rates and shorten sales cycles.
- Collaborate with leadership to establish sales KPIs and metrics aligned with business goals.
Customer & Market Engagement
- Build and nurture relationships with prospects and clients, becoming a trusted advisor in their buying journey.
- Deeply understand customer pain points and use first-principles problem solving to position solutions effectively.
- Gather customer insights and market intelligence to inform product roadmap and GTM strategies.
- Partner with marketing to create impactful sales collateral, assets, and campaigns that resonate with target buyers.
Collaboration & Influence
- Work cross-functionally with product, marketing, and customer success teams to deliver seamless customer experiences.
- Provide structured feedback to product teams on customer needs, influencing feature development and priorities.
- Act as a brand ambassador in the market, building awareness and credibility for the company.
Qualifications & Skills
- 4+ years of B2B SaaS sales experience, ideally in an early-stage startup environment.
- Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding quotas.
- Strong prospecting, negotiation, and closing skills, with the ability to engage C-level executives.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and storytelling skills — a true "people person."
- Entrepreneurial mindset with high ownership, accountability, and dependability.
- Comfortable working independently, taking initiative, and wearing multiple hats.
- Familiarity with CRM tools, sales automation platforms, and modern sales methodologies.
