Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee end-to-end production operations to ensure timely, efficient, and high-quality output of pet food products.
• Plan and execute daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules in alignment with demand forecasts, inventory goals, and sales targets.
• Manage and guide production teams, ensuring proper manpower planning, task allocation, training, and performance monitoring.
• Maintain strict adherence to FSSAI guidelines, food safety standards, hygiene, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Continuously monitor production metrics such as output, yield, wastage, and efficiency, and drive improvements to achieve operational excellence.
• Implement lean manufacturing principles and process improvements to optimize cost, reduce wastage, and enhance productivity.
• Oversee preventive maintenance of machinery and ensure minimal downtime in production.
• Support introduction of new products by developing and standardizing production processes for smooth rollout.
• Prepare and manage the production budget, monitor costs, and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
• Maintain complete documentation, reports, and compliance records in line with internal and statutory requirements.
• Build a strong, motivated production team culture with clear accountability, discipline, and continuous skill development.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Food Technology or Food Science (mandatory).
• 3–5 years of experience in food manufacturing or processing, with at least 2 years in a managerial or leadership role.
• Strong understanding of food safety, quality control, and manufacturing best practices.
• Proven ability to manage large-scale production, manpower, and operational planning.
• Excellent leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills with a proactive, hands-on approach.
• Passion for pet nutrition, product quality, and process excellence will be an added advantage.
