Role Overview

We are looking for energetic and technically sound Food Ingredients Sales Executive (Male/Female) who can combine scientific knowledge with strategic sales capabilities to drive B2B growth across India.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, develop, and manage B2B customer accounts across relevant industries.
  • Conduct field sales visits, product presentations, and technical discussions with clients.
  • Promote and sell pea protein, starch, and related product lines to targeted customers.
  • Understand customer requirements and provide technical advice based on product applications.
  • Build strong relationships with key decision-makers in food, nutraceutical, beverage, and allied sectors.
  • Manage the entire sales cyclefrom lead generation to closing.
  • Coordinate with R&D, production, and quality teams for sampling, trials, and customer support.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets across assigned regions.
  • Stay updated on market trends, competition, and new opportunities.
  • Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and market insights.

Required Qualifications

  • Education:

    • B.Tech / M.Tech in Food Technology, Food Science, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Chemistry

      OR

    • MBA / PGDM in Marketing, Sales, or Business Administration (with technical aptitude).
  • Experience:

    • 2-3 years in B2B sales, technical sales, field sales, or business development.
    • Experience in food ingredients, nutraceuticals, raw materials, or related sectors is an added advantage.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong technical understanding of food ingredients or related scientific domains.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage field sales visits and customer interactions independently.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Passion for sales, networking, and business growth.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across assigned territories.
