Floor Manager

A floor manager oversees daily operations, leads and supports staff, and ensures a positive customer experience by managing inventory, resolving issues, and enforcing company standards. Key responsibilities include staff scheduling and development, monitoring floor activities for efficiency, maintaining inventory levels, and handling customer complaints and inquiries. Effective communication, strong leadership, and excellent organizational skills are crucial for success in this role, which bridges staff and management.  Staff Management and Leadership Supervise & Train Staff: Lead, guide, and motivate floor staff, providing feedback, conducting training, and ensuring excellent customer service standards are met.  Scheduling: Create work schedules to ensure proper staff coverage for daily operations.  Performance Monitoring: Monitor employee performance, conduct evaluations, and address any disciplinary issues.  Communication: Conduct team meetings to communicate goals, expectations, and updates to staff.  Operational Oversight Daily Operations: Manage and oversee the daily activities and workflow on the floor, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.  Inventory Control: Maintain accurate inventory levels, manage stock, and oversee proper merchandise display.  Store Maintenance & Presentation: Ensure the floor area is clean, organized, and safe for both customers and staff.  Compliance: Make sure all staff and operations comply with company policies, health and safety regulations, and relevant laws.
