These individuals analyse client needs, implement software solutions, and provide training and support for seamless integration and utilisation of business applications, enabling clients to achieve their strategic objectives. As a business application consulting generalist at PwC, you will provide consulting services for a wide range of business applications. You will leverage a broad understanding of various software solutions to assist clients in optimising operational efficiency through analysis, implementation, training, and support.Focused on relationships, you are building meaningful client connections, and learning how to manage and inspire others. Navigating increasingly complex situations, you are growing your personal brand, deepening technical expertise and awareness of your strengths. Position Overview: Implementation Engineer (

Offshore, Nearshore, Talent Exchange

)

The Implementation Engineer is a passionate technologist capable of developing, managing, and showcasing innovative solutions to complex business problems that leverage the Banking Core APIs and technical features. With a focus on ensuring customer success, the Implementation Engineer’s primary role is to provide technical consulting to clients and serve as a subject matter expert on the Banking Core APIs and integration points. In addition, the Implementation Engineer role encompasses all components of client implementations, training, overall product feedback and client support. When clients present vendors that are not already integrated to the Banking core, you will provide consultative guidance on how the vendor can be integrated into the ecosystem. Most importantly though, you will consult the client on best practices regarding integration models, workflows and you will support the client’s users through onboarding to help them get the most out of the solution you helped design. The ideal candidate will have a background in financial software working with clients directly and with internal project team members.

Qualifications :BTech/BE/MTech/MS/MCA/MBA.

Experience: 10-15 Years

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
  • 10+ years professional experience in API and software development
  • Fluent with functional, imperative and/or object-oriented languages
  • Stellar communication, collaboration, problem-solving and accountability skills

Technical Skills

  • Hands on Core Banking, SaaS (Software as a Service)/BaaS (Banking as a Service) experience.
    • Core Banking Systems Knowledge: In-depth understanding of core banking platforms particularly systems such as Profile and the Modern Banking Platform (MBP).
  • Business Process Modeling: Proficiency in creating process flow diagrams, use cases, and other documentation.
  • API Integration: Familiarity with API standards and integration methods in a banking environment.
  • Technical Knowledge: Core Banking processes & software, RESTful services, SQL, Swagger, Json data interchange. Core conversion experience. Familiarity with Golang is a plus

Banking Knowledge

  • Financial Products Understanding: Deep knowledge of banking products such as loans, deposits, payments, and treasury.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Awareness of banking regulations (e.g., AML, KYC, Basel III) and how they impact system requirements.
