Position Overview: Conversion Engineer (
Nearshore, Talent Exchange)
You will analyze and convert customer, account, and financial data from multiple data sources to Banking Core platform. You will collaborate with internal teams, clients, and partners to understand client banking products and configurations. You will analyze source schema and data and maintain, enhance, and execute conversion software to ensure smooth data conversion and system integration.
Qualifications :BTech/BE/MTech/MS/MCA/MBA.
What You'll Do
- Analyze and convert data from various sources into the Banking Core domain model.
- Collaborate with internal, client, and partner teams to understand banking products, configurations, and deconversion models and file formats.
- Build medium and complex business and technical conversion programs, collaborating with conversion and business analysts to identify business needs and appropriate technical solutions.
- Enhance and maintain the Banking core conversion utility as needed.
- Review and maintain necessary documentation and artifacts to support the conversion process and engage in mock and various product integration events with clients and Banking partners.
- Ensure integrity of data conversion results (data, files, reports, and balancing).
- Validating offline System and Output testing of data conversion files.
- Monitor and identify potential risks and issues and escalate appropriately.
Experience You'll Need To Have
- 6+ years of experience in conversion optimization with a strong record of improving conversion rates.
- 3+ years of experience with Postgres/SQL, Swagger and JSON.
- 3+ years of experience with technical analysis, design, and development skills.
- 3+ years of experience with executing on time-sensitive project deliverables.
- 3+ years of experience extracting, transforming, loading data, ETL development.
- 3+ years of experience coordinating multiple tasks to completion with minimal supervision and under strict deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, work, or military experience.
Experience That Would Be Great To Have
- 3+ years of firsthand financial industry experience in software application development for information technology, loan servicing, deposit operations, card processing, interface development, or CRM systems.
- 3+ years of experience in finance, banking, or payments.
- Experience with Golang, C++ or Python, RESTful services,
- Prior experience in converting to new processing platforms.
- Ability to manage deliverables and provide support to multiple priorities, sense of urgency, and deal with ambiguity.
- Excellent abilities in time management and effective communication skills, encompassing both written and verbal forms.
