Job Description

The Financial Services Manager oversees the day-to-day operations of the financial services department, ensuring excellent client service, regulatory compliance, and achievement of financial goals. This role involves managing staff, advising clients on financial products and services, and contributing to strategic planning and revenue growth. Key Responsibilities:Team Leadership & Management: Lead and supervise a team of financial advisors or customer service representatives. Set performance goals and monitor individual and team progress. Provide training, mentoring, and performance evaluations. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients. Analyze clients' financial needs and offer tailored financial solutions. Address client inquiries and resolve issues in a timely manner. Sales & Business Development: Promote financial products such as loans, mortgages, investment accounts, and insurance. Identify cross-selling opportunities to meet sales targets. Develop strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones. Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure adherence to financial regulations, company policies, and ethical standards. Monitor transactions and services to detect fraud and minimize risk. Prepare and review reports for internal and external audits. Operational Oversight: Oversee daily banking operations, including account management, loan processing, and transaction approvals. Ensure efficient and accurate service delivery. Optimize department workflows and implement process improvements. Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field (Master's preferred). Professional certifications (e.g., CFP, CFA, or similar) are a plus. 5+ years of experience in financial services, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role. Strong knowledge of financial products, banking regulations, and investment strategies. Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g., Excel, CRM systems). Work Environment:Office setting (bank branch, corporate office, or financial firm). May require occasional travel for client meetings or branch visits. Standard business hours with occasional extended hours during reporting periods or deadlines.
