Job Description

The role incumbent is responsible for analyzing and monitoring the cost structure and financial performance of various departments and services within the organization. Expected to play a crucial role in ensuring accurate cost allocation, cost control, and providing valuable insights to support informed decision-making.

Decision Support and Strategic Initiatives:

Provide financial insights, recommendations, and scenario analysis to support strategic initiatives, new service line development, and revenue enhancement opportunities.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate the financial feasibility of new programs and initiatives.

Assist in contract negotiations, financial due diligence, and merger and acquisition activities, as required.

Competition Analysis:

Conduct competitive analysis to identify key market trends, competitors' financial performance, and strategic initiatives within the healthcare industry.

Monitor and assess the competitive landscape, including new entrants, mergers, acquisitions, and partnerships, and provide insights on potential risks and opportunities.

Evaluate pricing strategies, reimbursement models, and service offerings of competitors to benchmark the hospital's financial performance and identify areas for improvement.

Market Intelligence:

Gather and analyze market data, industry reports, and economic indicators to understand market dynamics and potential impact on the hospital's financial position.

Identify market trends, patient demographics, and regulatory changes that may influence revenue generation, cost structure, and financial planning.

Financial Forecasting and Scenario Analysis:

Incorporate market intelligence and competition analysis into financial forecasting models to provide accurate revenue projections and assess potential risks and opportunities.

Perform scenario analysis to evaluate the impact of market changes, competitive threats, and regulatory shifts on the hospital's financial performance.

Financial Analysis and Reporting:

Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including profitability analysis, cost analysis, and financial modeling, to support business decisions and initiatives.

Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports, including financial statements, variance analysis, and key performance indicators (KPIs), to aid management in assessing financial performance.
