Financial Controller/Finance Head

Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA) – Mandatory

CTC- 12 to 18 LPA

Role:

We are looking for an experienced Finance Controller to take complete ownership of the finance function. The role requires hands-on control over accounts, audits, GST, taxation, P&L and balance sheet, along with strong experience in M&A, investor readiness, financial modeling, D2C business acquisitions, and company investments. The person will work closely with founders and leadership on strategic and financial decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own end-to-end finance and accounts including P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, and monthly closures
• Lead statutory, internal, tax, and GST audits end to end
• Ensure complete GST compliance – filings, reconciliations, notices, and assessments
• Handle direct and indirect taxation including income tax, TDS, assessments, and compliances
• Prepare and manage investor data, presentations, MIS, and financial models
• Support fundraising, M&A activities, and D2C business acquisitions including due diligence, valuations, and integrations
• Manage company investments including evaluation, structuring, returns analysis, and compliance
• Design and monitor the investment portfolio, aligned with business and treasury strategy
• Drive budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning aligned with business growth
• Set up and strengthen financial controls, processes, and SOPs
• Act as a strategic finance partner to founders, providing clear financial insights for decision-making

Mandatory Requirements:

• Chartered Accountant (CA) – Mandatory
• 8–12 years of relevant experience
• Proven experience in M&A and D2C business acquisition
• Strong experience in investor data preparation, presentations, and financial modeling
• Hands-on audit experience (statutory, internal, GST, tax)
• Complete working knowledge of GST and taxation
• Strong control over P&L, balance sheet, and cash flows
• Experience in D2C brands preferred
