Financial Controller

As a Financial Controller at our Salesforce Professional Services Team, you will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of our projects to ensure financial health and compliance. Your strong financial acumen, exceptional analytical skills, and proven track record in financial management within the professional services industry will be key assets in this role. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain financial models for project planning and forecasting - Conduct Financial Planning and Analysis - Monitor project budgets and track financial performance against targets - Prepare regular forecasts and variance analyses to evaluate financial performance and identify risks and opportunities - Generate timely and accurate financial reports for internal partners and management - Collaborate with project teams to provide financial insights and support project delivery - Communicate with Revenue Recognition/Finance teams for inquiries - Engage with clients to discuss project financials, billing, and invoicing as necessary - Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards - Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support business objectives - Identify opportunities to optimize margins and hours - Manage resourcing and staffing plans - Lead continuous improvement efforts - Analyze and optimize contingency usage - Prepare and endorse attestation financials - Drive partners communications and change orders Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; MBA preferred - Minimum 8 years of experience in financial management and 2+ years in the IT industry - Strong understanding of financial principles, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis - Proficiency in financial modeling and advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills - Experience with financial systems and tools, preferably ERP systems and Salesforce - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across functions and levels - Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities - Attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and integrity in financial reporting - Data analytics and/or Tableau experience is preferred As a Financial Controller at our Salesforce Professional Services Team, you will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of our projects to ensure financial health and compliance.
