Job Description:

The Financial Controller will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, optimizing financial performance, and providing strategic insights to support business growth. The role involves managing financial reporting, budgeting, audits, and internal controls while driving process efficiency and cost optimization.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day financial operations including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements in compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Develop, implement, and monitor financial controls, policies, and procedures to safeguard company assets.
• Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities for statutory audits, tax filings, and compliance.
• Analyse financial performance and provide insights to management for decision-making.
• Manage and mentor the finance team to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and professional development.
• Support management in strategic planning, financial modelling, and investment decisions.
• Monitor cost control initiatives and ensure adherence to budgetary targets.
• Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other applicable financial regulations.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial management.
• Proficiency in advanced Excel skills.
• Analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
• Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

Desired Educational Qualifications & Experience

• CA or CMA qualified preferred.
• Experience in infrastructure shall be an add on.
• 8-10 years of experience.
