Financial Analyst - Remote

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Financial Analyst (CA/ACCA) to join our remote finance team and support UK-based clients. In this role, you will deliver actionable financial insights, ensure compliance with UK GAAP/IFRS, and work closely with client finance teams to improve business performance. If you’re passionate about numbers, analysis, and leveraging finance tech tools, this role is designed for you.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse financial data to provide actionable insights for strategic decision-making.
• Partner with UK accountants to manage payroll and compliance.
• Monitor KPIs, perform variance analysis, and recommend process improvements.
• Assist with VAT preparation and submissions, ensuring compliance with UK regulations.
• Lead automation initiatives with guidance from the UK finance lead.
• Manage month-end closing in collaboration with finance teams.
• Use Xero and Dext for financial reporting and data management.
• Oversee Accounts Payable & Receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.

Role Requirements:

• Mandatory: ACCA or Chartered Accountant (CA).
• 2–3 years of experience in financial analysis or accounting.
• Previous exposure to UK accounting practices is preferred.
• Demonstrated expertise in Xero for financial tasks.
• Strong understanding of UK GAAP/IFRS and regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency in financial modelling, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Hands-on experience with Xero, Dext, and adaptability to new finance tech tools.
• Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
