Finance Subject Matter Expert & ERP Functional Executive - (Work Location = Kerala - Kozhikode / Calicut - NOT / NO Work from Home - Strictly Please!)This role combines the expertise of an ERP functional expert with basic understanding of any ERP platform. Fair amount of Training + Orientation would be provided.You will be trained for analysing client's business needs using financial and non-financial data, system & process problems of the client's, overcoming (finance) functional limitations, enabling & facilitating reports, configuring ERP to meet those needs, and ensuring a smooth implementation process. You will be trained on any ERP majors and you will be part of a team - until, you are confident and trained to handle it independently. You will never be alone until and unless, you scale up to take it head-on! Focussed Training + Case Studies + Past Client Calls would be shared and basis the live scenarios - theory + practical would be blended.
Responsibilities
Business Analysis:
- Conduct meetings and client engagements to understand client's business processes across various departments (e.g., Finance, Buying, Selling, Inventory, Assets, HR, CRM etc) - based on the specific requirements - not every time - all modules would be present - 50% of the time, it's Finance & Accounts only.
- Identify areas for improvement and opportunities to streamline operations - through ERP. You suggest - we will ensure client hears it out & if it's convincing - let's implement it together - experience the change - feel proud!
- Document current workflows and translate them into a functional and non-technical write-up through drafting skills. You will be trained in the basic drafting skills.
- Capability to understand the client's business limitations / challenges & suggest solutions / methods - we will help you all through!
Systems / ERP Expertise
- Possess theoretical or working knowledge of systems / any accounting software / any ERP functionalities, logics & workflows. We will train you in this product SPECIFICALLY!
- Capability to fit the accounting software to specific needs of each client. After 2 client meetings, we will ensure that you are confident to handle this.
- Ability to understand the ERP's options and way of doing things and demonstrating it to prospective clients and clients. Communication skills - we will ensure that you are better than how you come in! After all, communication breaks the barrier positively!
Project Management
- Work collaboratively with project managers and technical / software coding team. You don't have to code - but you will definitely understand what coders do!
- Develop and manage project timelines and milestones - using Excel / Project Management tools. You have heard that Time is MONEY - you will see it 1st hand in action.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks during implementation. Any challenges - product level or accounting or functional or otherwise - we will ensure you grow up to understand first, THINK next and attempt proposing solutions! Final solution - will be EITHER I convince YOU or YOU Convince ME! Proposed solution Wins and not the Person / Designation / Experience!
- Keep the client engagement active and connected - daily - by emails / status update. You will see how the ART of communication pro-actively helps - Business + Real Life!
Communication & Training
- Explain complex functional / finance functionalities to both technical and non-technical audiences. At times, you can also turn out to be tutor / Teacher.
- Develop and deliver training materials for end-users on how to effectively utilize ERP - (capability and individual based)
- Provide ongoing functional support to users after implementation.
- Sum-up all the client's understanding in a word file and help create a business requirements document.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Economics, Accounts or related field - anyone pursuing can also apply - provided academics is not impacted.
- Basic understanding of ANY ERP / Tally / Any Accounting functionalities logically (e.g. Finance, Accounts, Inventory, HRMS, CRM etc).
- Basic analytical and problem-solving skills - we will attempt to build on this and groom it further.
- Basic communication, written and verbal, with the ability to explain functional concepts to non-technical users.
- Project management experience (a plus). Not software - but, how to get the work done!!!!
Additional Skills (depending On Clients)
- Experience with specific industries that you may have been experienced with during internship / article-ship (e.g., Manufacturing, Distribution).
- Basic working knowledge of Excel
