Finance & Ops (Full- Time)

About the Role

We’re looking for a high-ownership Finance & Ops hire to keep ContraVault AI’s day-to-day finance and operations running cleanly as we scale. This role is for someone who can execute fast, maintain strong documentation hygiene, and ensure billing, payments, and compliance timelines don’t slip. You’ll work closely with the founders and coordinate with our CA support.

Responsibilities:

Billing, Collections & Receivables

• Raise customer invoices, share them on time, and maintain an accurate tracker.
• Follow up on receivables and keep founders updated on status and next actions.
• Maintain payment proofs and customer billing records in a clean, audit-ready structure.

Vendor Payments & Procurement Ops

• Manage vendor onboarding basics and payment processing.
• Track payables, renewals, and subscriptions; avoid lapses and missed payments.
• Maintain vendor invoices, agreements, and supporting documents.

Expense & Reimbursement Ops

• Collect receipts/invoices, verify details, and process reimbursements.
• Maintain an expense tracker and ensure documentation is audit-ready.

Compliance Coordination (with CA support)

• Coordinate GST/TDS inputs, invoice data
• Ensure timelines are met by keeping data clean, complete, and ready.

Reporting & Founder Updates (MIS)

• Share weekly visibility on cash in/out, receivables, payables, and key upcoming commitments.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years experience in finance ops / business ops / accounting support
• Strong follow-through and comfort handling routine + urgency when needed
• Good Excel/Sheets skills (clean trackers, basic summaries)
• Comfortable coordinating with vendors/customers and a CA
• Detail-oriented and organized with documentation
