Embrace Excellence
This role is part of the newly established India finance team, as Edrington looks to establish its presence in India. The role reports to the Financial Controller and is responsible for Accounts Payables, GST/VAT submissions, payroll involvement and responsibility for month end tasks including intercompany, fixed assets, various accrued items along with GL cleardown. Further analytical support and reporting will be required to support the Financial Controller and the business more generally.
Make an Impact
Key business controlling and reporting tasks include:
- Ownership of GST/VAT/Excise/Customs calculation and submission
- Monthly payroll processing through our ADP system
- Ownership of Group recharges and monthly intercompany matrix
- Post and reconcile bank account entries
- Responsibility for various month end tasks e.g. accruals, fixed assets etc
- Vendor invoice management
- Asset accounting and monitoring
- Assist tax reporting and other statutory submissions
- Assist external auditors with the provision of documents and information
Your Talent And Skills
To be successful in this role, you will have the following:
- An accounting background, either part-qualified ACCA/CIMA
- Experience with SAP is advantageous but not critical
- Previous experience in similar role/accounting background
- Precision, accuracy and strong organisational skills
- The ability to work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment, resistant to stress
- The ability to work as a team player, as well as independently, and can plan and prioritise your workload accordingly
- Good negotiation and communication skills
- The ability to work in a cross-cultural environment
- Given the global nature of our business, fluency in English and Hindi, spoken and written, is a must
