Job Overview

Throne Solutions is seeking a reliable and technically skilled Field Service Technician for a contract-based assignment in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will have solid hands-on experience with IT hardware support, troubleshooting, and on-site service delivery. This role requires strong communication skills, professionalism, and the ability to work independently at client locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide on-site support for IT hardware, including desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
• Perform installation, configuration, repairs, and replacement of IT equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and basic network issues.
• Support device imaging, deployments, and system upgrades.
• Maintain proper documentation of service tasks, parts used, and resolutions.
• Coordinate with remote support teams for escalated issues.
• Follow client and company standards for security, safety, and service quality.
• Deliver professional, timely, and customer-focused service during all visits.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience as a Field Service Technician, IT Support Technician, or similar role.
• Strong understanding of IT hardware diagnostics and repair.
• Ability to troubleshoot Windows OS and basic networking issues.
• Experience with device imaging and software installations.
• Good communication skills in English (basic).
• Ability to travel locally within Mumbai as required.
• Self-driven, organized, and able to work independently.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications such as CompTIA A+, ITIL, or similar.
• Experience working with multinational clients or global service teams.
• Ability to handle break-fix tasks for enterprise-level IT equipment.
