Job Description

A Field Sales Executive drives revenue by finding new clients, pitching products/services in person, negotiating deals, and managing customer relationships within a specific territory, focusing on achieving sales targets through strategic visits, presentations, and strong relationship-building, often using CRM tools for tracking and reporting. Key duties include prospecting, conducting sales demos, closing deals, ensuring customer satisfaction, and reporting on market trends and competitor activities. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Generation: Identify, pursue, and qualify new business opportunities in assigned territories.
  • Client Engagement: Conduct face-to-face meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations for potential and existing clients.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with customers, ensuring high satisfaction.
  • Target Achievement: Meet or exceed monthly/quarterly sales quotas and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Reporting: Provide regular sales forecasts, activity reports, and market insights to management.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor strategies, and new products.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven experience in field sales.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong time management, organizational, and self-motivation.
