Reporting to: Sales Manager
We are looking for a highly motivated and strategic Business Development Executive(BDE) to fuel our growth by identifying new business opportunities and building a strongpipeline of qualified leads. The BDE will be at the forefront of our expansion efforts,responsible for market research, prospecting, and initiating the first contact withpotential high-value clients, including architects, interior designers, builders,contractors, and potential dealers/distributors.
This role is crucial for our sales ecosystem, acting as the primary source of newopportunities that will be nurtured by our field sales team.
Key Responsibilities

Business Development:
Proactively identify, target, and pursue new sales leads and business opportunities within the assigned territory. -
Client Relationship Management:
Build, nurture, and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with architects, interior designers, builders, and channel partners (dealers/distributors). -
Sales Cycle Management:
Manage the end-to-end sales process, including initial client meetings, site visits, product presentations, proposal submission, negotiation, and deal closure to consistently meet or exceed sales targets. -
Technical Consultation:
Develop a deep understanding of our product portfolio (stone types, finishes, applications, installation) to provide expert advice and technical specifications to clients. -
Market Intelligence:
Conduct regular market research to stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and new project pipelines. Provide feedback to the management team. -
Reporting & Forecasting:
Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, client interactions, and sales pipeline in the company CRM. Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to the Sales Manager. -
Collaboration:
Work closely with the internal marketing and operations teams to ensure seamless order processing, timely delivery, and excellent customer service. -
Field Activity:
Conduct regular field visits to client offices, active construction sites, and dealer showrooms to build rapport and identify immediate opportunities.
Qualifications and Skills
Experience
2 5 years of proven field sales experience, preferably in the building materials, construction, architectural products, or a related industry.
Mobility
Must own a two-wheeler/four-wheeler and possess a valid drivers license. Skills:
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
- A strategic thinker with a customer-centric approach.
Education
Bachelor s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
Preferred
- Direct experience in selling natural stone, tiles, marble, granite, or similar high-end surface materials.
- An existing network of contacts among architects, interior designers, and builders in the target region.
- Experience using CRM software to manage sales pipelines.
