Job Description

Head of Sales / Business Development Manager

We are looking for a highly motivated and strategic Business Development Executive(BDE) to fuel our growth by identifying new business opportunities and building a strongpipeline of qualified leads. The BDE will be at the forefront of our expansion efforts,responsible for market research, prospecting, and initiating the first contact withpotential high-value clients, including architects, interior designers, builders,contractors, and potential dealers/distributors.
This role is crucial for our sales ecosystem, acting as the primary source of newopportunities that will be nurtured by our field sales team.
Key Responsibilities Roles & Responsibilities
  • Lead Generation & Prospecting:

    Systematically research and identify potential clients and projects through platforms like IndiaMART, TradeIndia, LinkedIn, and industry sources.
  • Market Research:

    Monitor the construction and architectural landscape for new projects, tenders, and trends. Analyze competitors to find strategic opportunities.
  • Initial Outreach:

    Contact prospective clients via email, cold calls, and social media to introduce Jagson India s product portfolio.
  • Lead Qualification:

    Evaluate leads based on project scale, budget, and decision-making authority.
  • Appointment Setting:

    Schedule calls, meetings, or site visits for field sales executives with qualified leads.
  • CRM Management:

    Keep CRM updated with lead details, activities, and communication logs.
  • Collaboration:

    Work closely with marketing and field sales teams for seamless lead handling and conversion.
  • Reporting:

    Generate regular reports on lead status, pipeline, and conversions.

Qualifications and Skills

Experience:

1 3 years of experience in a business development, inside sales, or lead generation role, preferably within the B2B sector.
Skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong research and analytical abilities.
  • Proficient in using CRM software and MS Office Suite.
  • A tenacious and goal-oriented mindset with a passion for building new relationships.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Education:

Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

Preferred
  • Experience in the building materials, construction, real estate, or architectural products industry is a significant advantage.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding lead generation or appointment setting targets.
  • Familiarity with sales prospecting tools and platforms like LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
