Field Sales Executive

Job Description We are looking for a Field Sales Executive with experience in the solar industry, specifically dealing in solar mounting structures such as Z Purlin, C Section, and solar frames. The candidate will be responsible for on-field sales, client acquisition, and coordination with EPC companies and solar project developers. Key Responsibilities Sales & Business Development Field visits to solar EPC companies, project developers, installers, and contractors Generate new business for solar mounting structures (Z Purlin, C Section, MMS frames) Promote company products for rooftop, ground-mounted, and utility-scale solar projects Achieve monthly & quarterly sales targets Client Coordination Maintain strong relationships with existing clients & EPC partners Understand customer requirements related to structure design, quantity, load & material Coordinate with internal team for quotation, pricing, and order finalization Site & Market Activity Visit solar project sites for requirement analysis Collect market intelligence on pricing, competitors, and upcoming projects Attend solar exhibitions, meetings & industry events if required Order & Follow-up Follow up for PO, dispatch, delivery & payment collection Coordinate with production & logistics team for smooth execution Ensure customer satisfaction post-sales Product Knowledge Required Solar mounting structures Z Purlin, C Section, GI/Hot Dip Galvanized steel Rooftop & ground-mounted solar structure basics Understanding of EPC working & solar project lifecycle Required Skills Strong field sales & negotiation skills Good communication (Hindi & basic English) Ability to work independently in field Knowledge of solar EPC market is mandatory Comfortable with travelling extensively Qualification Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech / Graduation (Any stream) Technical background preferred but not mandatory Preferred Candidate Profile Experience in solar structure / steel / fabrication industry Existing contacts with solar EPCs & installers Self-motivated & target-oriented
