Field Audit Officer

Job Summary:

SarvaGram is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Field Audit Officer (FAO) to join our Internal Audit team in Maharashtra. The FAO will report to the Zonal Audit Manager and play a critical role in ensuring audit compliance across branch operations, gold loan processes, and file/document destruction protocols.

Location: Nashik, Maharashtra

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct hindsight audits of loan files and verify adherence to credit policies.
• Perform Gold Infrastructure Audits, including storage, safety, and process compliance.
• Carry out Gold Pouch Audits and ensure alignment with inventory records.
• Audit and supervise the destruction of rejected application files, closed Gold Loan (GL) and Consumer Durable (CD) loan files as per company policy.
• Conduct physical verification of Farm Mechanization assets across locations and ensure records are updated accurately.
• Track and follow up on closure of open internal audit observations with relevant teams.
• Submit timely and factual field reports with proper documentation and photographic evidence.
• Coordinate with branches and zonal teams for audit-related queries and rectifications.

Qualification & Skills:

• Graduate in Commerce, Finance, or related field.
• Prior audit experience in NBFC/BFSI is preferred.
• Strong understanding of lending products.
• Willingness to travel extensively within assigned zones.
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel and audit tools.
• Strong attention to detail and integrity in field reporting.
