Marketing Manager

Location: Hyderabad

Reports to: Chief Executive Officer


Works closely with: Branding & Communications (B&C) Team, Clinical Directors, Non-Clinical Unit Heads, Operations, Fundraising & Partnerships


Role Summary

Fernandez Hospitals is a 75-year-old socially conscious enterprise committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based, and inclusive maternity and women’s healthcare. As we continue our journey of transformation and growth, we are seeking an experienced Marketing Manager (7–10 years) to lead our marketing efforts across all units.

This role requires a Manager who can liaise with the existing Branding & Communications (B&C) team while driving end-to-end marketing strategy and execution—both digital and offline (unit-level marketing). The Marketing Manager will play a pivotal role in strengthening our brand, building trust in the community, increasing patient engagement, and supporting service line growth.

Marketing is a key function at the Fernandez Foundation and is expected to play a critical role in the transformation journey that we are embarking on. We will be rebranding, strategizing & growing significantly over the next few years. You will get to work directly with senior management and influence this change positively. While you will start as an individual contributor, you will have support from our external marketing agency and the internal b&c team. You will also have the ability to add resources to the marketing team over time and be part of the growth journey. Key Responsibilities


Strategic Marketing & Planning

  • Support in developing and owning complete execution of a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with Fernandez’s mission and business objectives.
  • Translate organizational priorities into actionable campaigns that balance brand building with measurable lead conversions & patient acquisition.
  • Establish clear marketing metrics to track performance, patient engagement, and ROI.


Collaboration with Branding & Communications (B&C)

  • Act as the bridge between leadership, clinical teams, and the B&C team, ensuring alignment across all messaging, campaigns, and initiatives.
  • Provide required inputs to the B&C team while enabling their creative and executional strengths, to ensure Marketing gets required content.


Digital Marketing & Campaigns

  • Lead digital marketing initiatives across social media, paid ads, SEO/SEM, and website content to build visibility and generate leads.
  • Enhance existing Digital Marketing channels and identify potential new channels.
  • Ensure campaigns reflect Fernandez’s brand ethos while being performance-driven.
  • Develop and implement Marketing Analytics framework for leveraging effectiveness of Digital Marketing Channels.
  • Use analytics and market insights to continuously refine targeting and messaging.


Offline & Unit-Level Marketing

  • Design and oversee unit-specific campaigns, events, and outreach programmes (corporate tie-ups, neighborhood promotions, patient education).
  • Collaborate with unit administrators, PROs, and clinical leads to ensure campaigns resonate with local patient needs.
  • Standardize patient touchpoint branding and ensure consistency across all units.


Clinical & Non-Clinical Collaboration

  • Work closely with clinicians to develop educational and thought-leadership content (e.g., patient workshops, webinars, media interactions).
  • Partner with operations and non-clinical teams to design campaigns that improve patient walk-ins, referrals, and overall patient experience.


Stakeholder Engagement & Reputation Building

  • Build and nurture relationships with external partners, media, and agencies.
  • Strengthen Fernandez’s reputation as a leader in maternity and women’s healthcare.
  • Ensure Foundation’s Brand value protected online and take course-corrective steps if necessary
  • Support fundraising and CSR communication initiatives as required.


Candidate Profile

Experience: 7–10 years of progressive experience in marketing, preferably in healthcare, hospitality, consumer services, or mission-driven organizations.


Skills:

  • Strong understanding of both brand building and performance marketing.
  • Ability to manage multi-channel marketing (digital + offline) - with Minimum 4 years of Digital Marketing experience.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
  • Proven ability to design campaigns that balance creativity with measurable business impact.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret data, patient insights, and campaign performance.
