Job Summary
The F&B Captain is responsible for supervising restaurant service operations, ensuring excellent guest experience, maintaining service standards, and leading the service team. This role supports smooth daily operations and enhances overall customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage restaurant service operations during shifts.
  • Ensure guests receive warm hospitality and timely service.
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders from guests.
  • Coordinate with kitchen and bar for smooth order execution.
  • Maintain service standards and proper sequence of service.
  • Perform suggestive selling to enhance guest dining experience.
  • Train, guide, and lead stewards and service staff.
  • Conduct pre-shift briefings for menu updates and daily specials.
  • Ensure staff follows grooming and hygiene standards.
  • Maintain mise-en-place before service hours.
  • Monitor availability of crockery, cutlery, glassware, and service equipment.
  • Report stock shortages, breakages, or maintenance needs.
  • Handle guest complaints professionally and ensure resolution.
  • Conduct table checks to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Ensure smooth section allocation and team coordination.
  • Maintain restaurant cleanliness and ambiance.
  • Ensure POS entries and billing accuracy.
  • Assist in guest payment handling when required.
  • Maintain basic service reports and handover notes.
  • Possess strong knowledge of multicuisine menu, ingredients, and preparation styles.
  • Understand Indian, Chinese, Continental, Italian, and other global cuisines.
  • Recognize flavors, presentation styles, and course structuring of multiple cuisines.
  • Guide guests confidently on dish recommendations across cuisines.
  • Ensure food allergy awareness and dietary preference handling.
  • Support restaurant manager in daily operational excellence.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Minimum 1–3 years of experience in restaurant service.
  • Strong communication and guest-handling skills.
  • Good knowledge of F&B service standards, menu, and POS systems.
  • Leadership ability with teamwork mindset.
  • Well–groomed, polite, and customer-focused.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
