Role Overview: The Manager will be responsible for the overall management and smooth functioning of the AC waiting lounge, ensuring superior customer service, comfort, safety, hygiene, sales reporting, inventory control, and compliance with operational standards. The role involves staff supervision, sales & inventory reporting, vendor coordination, facility monitoring, handling escalations, and driving customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: Operations & Service Management a. Ensure lounge operations run smoothly on a day-to-day basis. b. Monitor seating arrangements, housekeeping, air-conditioning, and amenities. c. Oversee ticketing, access control, and customer check-in processes. Customer Experience a. Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through prompt assistance. b. Handle grievances, complaints, and escalations in a professional manner. c. Conduct regular customer feedback surveys and implement improvements. Staff Supervision & Training a. Manage housekeeping staff, attendants, and security personnel. b. Ensure grooming, behaviour, and service standards are met. c. Conduct regular training sessions on customer service and safety. Facility & Vendor Management a. Coordinate with vendors for refreshments, Wi-Fi, etc. b. Ensure timely maintenance of AC, electricals, seating, washrooms, and IT systems. Inventory Management a. Maintain stock of consumables, refreshments, toiletries, and printed materials. b. Conduct periodic stock checks and update inventory records. c. Prevent stock-outs or overstocking through demand forecasting. d. Ensure zero inventory loss/pilferage by implementing control measures. Sales & Reporting a. Prepare Daily Sales Report (DSR) covering ticketing, refreshments, and other revenue streams. b. Reconcile cash, POS, and digital transactions at the end of each day. c. Submit daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports to management. Compliance & Safety a. Ensure hygiene, cleanliness, and safety standards are followed at all times. b. Monitor CCTV/security checks and emergency preparedness.
