Description The Senior Consultant is a pivotal member of the project team, responsible for running small projects, integrating portions of large projects, or contributing as a team member. They drive the analysis, design the solution, finalize processes, and resolve technical and process-related issues. The Senior Consultant may lead a team and ensures high-quality service and customer satisfaction. Additionally, they may be involved in developing detailed plans for their functional/technical area and supporting business development activities by providing proposal input. Essential Functions Engage with the customer by: - Leading customer engagement in business language and identifying requirements - Analyzing customer business processes and SAP solution design, transitioning from facts to conclusions - Leading process design workshops, configuration/development, and assisting in testing cycles - Demonstrating creativity and thought leadership in proposing solutions - Maintaining customer relationships and credibility, delivering tasks with high quality and on time - Establishing themselves as a go-to person for expertise, for both customers and colleagues - Managing customer and company expectations - Participating in pre-sales engagements, showcasing expertise in discussing best practices and SAP functionality Provide Leadership by: - Deploying consultants in the preparation of project documents, procedures, and manuals - Using appropriate methodology and tools in projects - Interviewing candidates for potential opportunities Assist in the development and implementation of project plans and continuously develop SAP core skills, IS-specific skills, and cross-functional expertise. Invest time in coaching and mentoring other consultants to enhance their professional development and act as a role model for customer service and problem-solving.
